  2. Check whether the ship’s clock matches St. Thomas shore time (AST, UTC−4). If they differ, have the crew confirm the equivalent shore date and time, including any change of date.
  3. Agree a return travel allowance with your transport provider, plus the extra boarding and delay buffer your ship recommends. Your time to leave an activity must be earlier than your time to arrive back for boarding.

If any of these details are unconfirmed, do not rely on a timed outing. If your return window has passed or there is too little time, prioritize returning and contact your ship’s crew or port agent immediately.
