The Virgin Islands Department of Public Works says construction activity is continuing at the Strand Street Parking Lot in Frederiksted through Monday, September 21.
The parking lot remains open, but vehicles must use a one-lane traffic pattern during the work. Drivers should slow down, follow posted signs and directions, and use extra care while entering or leaving the property.
DPW has not announced a full parking-lot closure. The advisory is limited to the scheduled construction period and should be treated as expired after Monday unless the department publishes an extension or revised traffic plan.
DPW should add the work area and traffic direction to a simple map and publish a dated completion notice if the project finishes early or extends beyond September 21.
