Start with identifiable sources
We favor official agencies, operators, organizers, business owners, and established local reporting. Source links stay visible wherever practical.

Date changing information
Schedules, events, deals, openings, and travel guidance are time-sensitive. We label review dates and tell visitors when direct confirmation still matters.

Correct the public record
Visitors can report a listing update. Business owners can claim profiles and submit temporary notices, which remain private until reviewed.

Collect less personal data
My Plans and island preferences stay on the visitor’s device. Anonymous activity counts respect browser privacy signals and can be switched off.

When you request availability or a quote, we store your name, email, optional phone number, trip preferences, message, and consent time. WelcomeToVI staff review the request and may contact you to clarify your plans.
With your consent, we share the request with the business you selected through its verified owner account. Businesses may pay WelcomeToVI for access to inquiries. The request is free for you, and contact details are not published on listing pages or shared with unrelated businesses through this form.
Submitting an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails or confirm a booking. Pricing, availability, and payment arrangements must be confirmed with the business. To ask about your stored inquiry or request its deletion, contact WelcomeToVI using the hello@welcometovi.com and include your request reference.
OPTIONAL TRAFFIC ANALYTICS

Minimal measurement.
Traffic analytics is off until you enable it in Device settings or the site menu. We count public page views and contact-button taps using a random first-party browser identifier, expiring after 30 days, and a separate session identifier renewed after 30 minutes of inactivity. These identifiers are not linked to your account, name or purchases.
We store only recognized public page paths, content island, broad traffic-source category, event type and server time. We do not store IP addresses, full referrer URLs, query strings, search text, chat content, email addresses or precise location in this dataset. Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control and the usage-count off switch stop collection.
Event-level records are excluded from reports after 90 days and removed during subsequent collection or report maintenance. Anonymous daily totals without identifiers are retained for up to 13 months. Turning the setting off clears this browser’s analytics identifiers and stops future traffic collection; already aggregated counts remain. No information is sent to a third-party analytics provider by this feature.
Reports cover only participating browsers, not every visitor or unique person. Clearing storage, multiple devices, blocking tools and 30-day identifier expiry affect estimates. Contact clicks do not prove a completed call, booking or sale.
