Four hundred free St. Thomas eco-tours open November 14

Resident-only vouchers cover guided kayaking, hiking and snorkeling at Mangrove Lagoon and Cas Cay on five Saturdays through December 12.

DPNR's Division of Fish and Wildlife and Virgin Islands EcoTours will offer 400 free guided excursions for current U.S. Virgin Islands residents at the Mangrove Lagoon Wildlife Sanctuary and Marine Reserve.

Tours are scheduled for November 14, 21 and 28 and December 5 and 12, with sessions from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Each outing combines kayaking through the mangroves with a Cas Cay hike and snorkeling.

Vouchers will be distributed first-come, first-served beginning November 14. Participants must be at least 10 years old, minors must be accompanied by an adult, reservations are limited to eight people per booking and each resident may redeem one voucher.

Residents can reserve through Virgin Islands EcoTours at 340-779-2155 or 1-877-684-2441, or through viecotours.com, using promotional code DPNR-DFW2026. Availability beyond the five announced Saturdays has not been confirmed.
