New grant program targets the capacity behind local impact

Virgin Islands small businesses and nonprofits can seek technical-assistance support designed to strengthen their financial and operational foundations.

The RTPark Community Impact Fund has launched a Technical Assistance Grant Program through the VI LEAP Fund for eligible small businesses and nonprofit organizations operating in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Technical-assistance funding is meant to improve the systems behind the work—areas such as financial management, operations and organizational readiness—rather than simply covering day-to-day expenses.

Interested organizations should review the program’s current eligibility rules, deadlines and required documentation at the original source before applying. Strong applicants will likely need to connect a specific operational need to a measurable improvement in service or sustainability.
