WAPA says its Feeder 9A contractor is performing underground electrical construction along Crown Bay Road from Saturday, October 10, through Saturday, October 24.
The active work zone starts near the Virgin Islands Port Authority entrance and extends slightly beyond the Crowley Shipping entrance. Planned work includes trenching, conduit and duct-bank installation, concrete placement, backfilling, compaction and road restoration.
Parts of Crown Bay Road will be reduced to one lane where crews are working. Flaggers and traffic-control devices will alternate vehicles through the work zone, while WAPA says driveways and entrances to nearby businesses and properties will remain accessible.
The October 24 date is the published construction schedule, not confirmation that every lane has reopened. Drivers should reduce speed, allow extra travel time and follow current signs and flagger instructions.
WAPA should add daily work hours and a current lane-status map to the notice, then publish a dated all-open confirmation when this phase is complete.
