Seventh Day Street closes Saturday for sewer-line repairs

Through traffic near the L.C. Milliner Department Store will be blocked from 8 a.m.; VIWMA has not provided a completion time.

VIWMA says Dronningens Gade, also known as Seventh Day Street, will close to through traffic near the L.C. Milliner Department Store beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday, October 10, for sewer-line repairs.

Access to the immediate work area will be limited to residents and people who own or operate businesses nearby. Drivers are encouraged to use Prindsens Gade, Hospital Line near Lionel Roberts Stadium or Norre Gade at the head of Pave Street.

VIWMA has not provided an estimated completion time and says it will issue a separate notice when the repair is finished and the roadway has reopened.

Drivers should reduce speed, follow traffic-control directions and avoid treating the passed work schedule as proof that the street has reopened.
