JFL trims administrative and outpatient hours through Friday

Emergency and inpatient care remain open around the clock, but registration, laboratory, radiology, cardiac rehabilitation and several offices are operating on reduced schedules.

Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital has temporarily adjusted hours for several administrative and outpatient services through Friday, September 11. The Emergency Department and inpatient services remain fully operational 24 hours a day.

Outpatient registration, main registration, admitting and scheduling are available from 7:30 a.m. to noon. Outpatient laboratory, radiology and cardiac rehabilitation services are operating from 8 a.m. to noon.

Billing and Patient Financial Services are open from 8 a.m. to noon and again from 1 to 4 p.m. Medical Records is open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., while Human Resources is open from 8 a.m. to noon.

Patients with a scheduled procedure, test or appointment outside those windows should contact the hospital or their care team before traveling. The notice does not describe any reduction in emergency or admitted-patient care.

SUGGESTED IMPROVEMENT

JFL should place the temporary schedule on its main website and phone system, directly notify affected patients, and publish a confirmation when regular hours resume after September 11.
