Contour Airlines launched nonstop service between St. Thomas and St. Maarten on Monday, October 5, when the inaugural flight arrived at Cyril E. King Airport.

The route is operating twice weekly using a 30-seat regional jet. The inaugural flight took about 27 minutes and was more than half full, according to St. Thomas Source reporting from the airport.

Contour says it is exploring possible St. Croix service, but no route or start date has been announced. Travelers should confirm current schedules, fares and entry requirements directly with the airline before booking.
